Arbo Cuts Tree Services is a professional tree surgery and land management company covering West Wales. Our team is fully qualified, insured and experienced in all aspects of tree surgery, forestry, vegetation clearance, spraying, MEWP operations and site clearance for both domestic and commercial clients.

Karl Lovell – CEO & Director
Karl Lovell is the founder and director of Arbo Cuts Tree Services and is responsible for overseeing all operations, project delivery and company standards. He has over 26 years experience in the industry and is fully qualified in tree surveying, pesticide application (PA1 & PA6), MEWP operations, chainsaw use from MEWP and full chainsaw qualifications. Karl also holds certifications in chipper operations, 8-wheel articulated machinery, forwarder and crane operation, and forestry first aid.
Karl plays a hands-on role within the business, ensuring all work is planned safely, delivered efficiently and completed to a high professional standard. He is involved in project management, client communication and on-site supervision where required.
Mark Lovell – Managing Director
Mark Lovell is the Managing Director and supports the day-to-day running of the business, helping to coordinate operations across domestic, commercial and forestry projects throughout West Wales.
Mark works closely with the team to ensure smooth delivery of projects and maintains a strong focus on organisation, safety and client satisfaction across all works undertaken by Arbo Cuts Tree Services.
William Lovell – Tree Surgery & Forestry Operative
William Lovell is a skilled tree surgery and forestry operative with experience across a wide range of domestic, commercial and woodland projects throughout West Wales. He is fully qualified in all chainsaw operations, including windblown trees and large tree felling, and holds Forestry First Aid certification. William is also qualified to operate tractors and cranes, enabling him to support complex forestry operations and large-scale tree work safely and efficiently.
His qualifications, practical experience and commitment to safe working practices make him a valued member of the Arbo Cuts Tree Services team, helping deliver professional, reliable and high-quality tree care on every project.
Daniel Harrison Lovell – Foreman
Daniel Harrison Lovell is the Foreman and is responsible for supervising teams on site and ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
He is fully trained in tree surveying, MEWP operations, chainsaw use from MEWP, full chainsaw qualifications, brush cutter operations, pesticide application (PA1 & PA6), tractor driving and chipper operations. Daniel also holds forestry first aid certification.
Daniel leads on-site operations, manages crews and ensures all work is completed in line with safety procedures and industry standards, particularly on more complex or high-risk jobs.
Ieuan Davies – Tree Surgery Operative
Ieuan Davies is a skilled tree surgery operative who supports a wide range of forestry, clearance and tree maintenance work across West Wales.
He is experienced in chipper operations, cross cutting and ground-based chainsaw work, and holds forestry first aid training. Ieuan plays an important role in supporting both domestic and commercial projects, assisting with site clearance and timber processing.
Harry Bott – Tree Surgery Operative
Harry Bott is part of the ground team and assists with tree surgery, vegetation clearance and site maintenance work. He is experienced in chipper operations, cross cutting and chainsaw ground work, and is trained in forestry first aid.
Harry supports day-to-day operations on both domestic and commercial sites, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and with attention to detail.
Owen Harrison Lovell – Tree Surgery Operative
Owen Harrison Lovell works across hedge cutting, tree surgery support and forestry maintenance. He is trained in chainsaw operations, hedge cutter use and forestry first aid.
Owen assists the wider team on a variety of projects, supporting both clearance and maintenance work while maintaining high safety and operational standards on site.
Chris Lovell – Forestry & Machinery Operator
Chris Lovell is a skilled forestry and machinery operator at Arbo Cuts Tree Services, specialising in larger-scale woodland and land management work across West Wales.
He is qualified in chainsaw use and experienced with a range of tracked machinery, including forwarders and harvesters, supporting efficient timber extraction and forestry operations. Chris also holds PA1 & PA6 pesticide qualifications for vegetation control and site management work.
His experience in both machinery operation and forestry work makes him a key part of larger and more complex projects.
All climbing operations are carried out by highly qualified and experienced arborists, trained in safe working at height and industry best practices for tree surgery.
